We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, building predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about turning data into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources for analysis
- Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets to support business decisions
- Design and build predictive models to solve real-world problems
- Visualize data and create dashboards and reports to communicate findings clearly
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to optimize data pipelines and ensure data integrity
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into products and workflows
- Test and validate models, ensuring accuracy and scalability
- Document methodologies, data sources, and model performance metrics
- Explore and implement new tools, libraries, and frameworks to enhance data science capabilities
- Translate complex data insights into simple, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in data science and AI
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Proficiency in managing data pipelines and using ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend, Informatica)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and MLops tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
