We are looking to hire an experienced Senior IT Engineer to oversee IT business operations and other computer systems in our organization. This role involves working with our team to troubleshoot software problems and implement new IT business processes.

The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the organization's computer systems, including planning, designing, implementing, troubleshooting, updating, and repairing. They will also be responsible for evaluating and identifying optimal cloud solutions, designing configurations, installing software, managing network systems, and training staff on correct operating procedures.

The Senior IT Engineer should have extensive experience maintaining large-scale computer systems, the ability to manage projects, and excellent troubleshooting skills. They should also be able to design and maintain a dynamic and stable system to perfectly meet the company's needs.

This role includes mentoring other IT team members in the department. The candidate must have a broad knowledge of technologies, enjoy solving problems, possess excellent communication skills, and stay up-to-date on the latest developments and trends in the industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Being the go-to technical subject matter expert for the other departments and IT team. 
• Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Identifying and troubleshooting system problems by acknowledging the problem and its root cause and fixing it
• Identifying necessary improvements to computer systems which includes testing and observing the existing system to identify areas that require development
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot processes to ensure efficient IT business operations in an organization
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
• Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
• Configuring and testing new computer systems to help identify potential problems and observe their level of security
• Documenting work and creating reports
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborate with programmers, developers, and designers to achieve set objectives
• Working with interdisciplinary teams to craft IT solutions
• Communicating complex information to a non-technological audience
• Mentor other IT members. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
• 2+ years of experience in Google Workspace and LastPass admin
• 4+ years of experience in AWS, and GCP
• Familiarity with general OS systems, Enterprise, programming languages, and Office software.
• Familiarity with email protocols.
• Ability to manage projects in Jira or similar products. 
• Experience in optimizing IT Helpdesk systems for increased productivity.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues.
• Knowledge of database and networking security systems.
• Good understanding of IT Security best practices.
